Pizza And Then Some was started in 1996, and while the Berea location isn't the original, we've been serving up our signature flavors and friendly service ever since. Our roots run deep, and our commitment to quality food and community remains as strong today as it was when we first opened.
The story of Pizza And Then Some begins with Chad Helms, a man who spent years working in the pizza industry. When his daughter was born, Chad felt a deeper drive — not just to work hard, but to build something meaningful for his family. He thought, “If I can manage and run a pizza restaurant for someone else, why not do it for myself?” That motivation led him to step away from a corporate pizza chain and open his own local shop — and that’s how Pizza And Then Some was born.
